As the Executive Vice President & Managing Partner at RD Management, Robert P. Murray is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations. He creates and implements company-wide policies and procedures and guides the company’s overall direction.
Robert has 45 years of experience as an entrepreneur and officer of RD Management, and was the driving force behind the company’s development interests in Puerto Rico.
Robert attended the University of Miami and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

- Richard J. Birdoff Principal & President

As Principal and President of RD Management, Richard J. Birdoff is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company including development, construction, acquisitions, sales and dispositions and has developed in excess of 10,000,000 square feet of shopping centers.
Richard has been engaged in the real estate business for more than 30 years. Prior to working at RD Management, he worked for IRT Properties, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Thereafter, Richard served as associate counsel to Bertram Associates.
Richard received his undergraduate degree from Emory College and his Juris Doctorate from Emory University Law School. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Crocker Realty Investors; a Florida based publicly held real estate investment trust.

- Isana Radchik, CPA Chief Financial Officer

Isana Radchik is the Chief Financial Officer for RD Management. She is responsible for cash management, banking relations, budgeting and forecasting, financial statements, tax returns, and tax and financial planning. She serves as the liaison between the company’s partners and financial institutions.
Before joining RD Management, Isana served as an accounting instructor at Adelphi College, an auditor at Glenn Ingram & Co. CPAs, and a financial analyst at Time Equities Inc.
Isana holds an MBA in accounting from Pace University and is a certified public accountant in the state of New York. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York City Society of CPAs.

- Roger Hirschhorn Chief Operating Officer

Roger Hirschhorn is Chief Operating Officer at RD Management. Roger is involved in all aspects of the company in helping to oversee the day-to-day operations.
Roger has over 33 years of experience in the shopping center industry. Throughout his career, Roger has worked for both shopping center owners as well as one of the country’s largest retailers. Over the years, Roger has been involved in all aspects of the shopping center industry including property management, accounting, leasing, development, acquisitions, construction and finance.
Roger attended the University of Vermont and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

- Brigadier General (Ret.) Alfred T. Rossi, P.E. Senior Vice President of Development

Brigadier General (Ret.) Alfred T. Rossi, P.E. has more than 40 years of engineering, construction, and real estate development experience in both the private and public sectors. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Development for RD Management and is responsible for the development of all major capital projects throughout the country. General Rossi has also served as a construction consultant to NYU Law School and several non-profit organizations in New York City.
Prior to joining RD Management in 1997, for nearly 10 years General Rossi served as a Corporate Vice President with the Grand Union Company in Wayne, NJ. In this role, General Rossi was in charge of development, store planning, engineering, construction, maintenance, equipment purchasing, and facilities management for the multi-billion dollar supermarket chain.
Earlier in his professional career, General Rossi was a partner for more than 15 years in a diversified consulting engineering firm with offices in New York and New Jersey. His focus was on the planning, design and supervision of construction of numerous residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including all aspects of real estate development, technical design, contract negotiations, owner representation, and regulatory interface.
In addition to his professional engineering career, General Rossi has more than 34 years of military engineering and command experience in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and last commanded an Engineer Brigade prior to his retirement from the Army in 2001.
General Rossi holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering and MBA and PMC degrees in financial management. He is also a graduate of the prestigious U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA.
General Rossi is a registered professional engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and a professional planner in the state of New Jersey. He is a member of National Society of Professional Engineers (N.S.P.E.), American Society of Civil Engineers, Society of American Military Engineers, Reserve Officers Association, and numerous other engineering and military organizations.

- Eric Moran Executive Vice President of Residential Development

Eric Moran is the Executive Vice President of Residential Development at RD Management. Eric oversees the acquisition and development of RD Management’s residential portfolio, including the repositioning of the company’s current properties.
Eric has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, focusing exclusively on the repositioning and development of residential assets. Prior to working at RD Management, Eric served as an associate in the real estate department at Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel LLP.
Eric received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and holds his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.

- Michael M. Rossi Vice President of Construction

Michael Rossi, PE, LEED AP BD+C, is Vice President of Construction at RD Management where he is responsible for the design and construction of projects throughout the country. Michael has over 20 years of construction, engineering, and real estate development experience in both private and public sectors, with projects throughout the United States as well as Puerto Rico. He has worked on all aspects of the project development life cycle including the regulatory process, design, construction, and coordination with operators, tenants, financial institutions, and municipal agencies. He has a wide range of building and site work experience on residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, and general construction projects. In addition, Michael served on active duty as an Officer in the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Michael is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Army Engineer Association (AEA), and the U.S. Green Building Council.

- Steven Z. Nachman General Counsel

Steven Nachman is General Counsel for RD Management. He is responsible for all legal aspects of the company’s operations, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financing, development and construction.
Prior to joining RD Management, Steven practiced law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He has experience in complex real estate transactions, including negotiation of acquisitions and dispositions, negotiation of leases, subleases, synthetic leases, leveraged leases and net bond leases, representation of lenders and borrowers in financing and refinancing transactions, negotiation of joint venture agreements, and representation of both sellers and purchasers of commercial properties.
Steven attended Queens College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and information systems. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science degree in real estate development and investment from NYU, and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Steven has served on a variety of boards and executive committees. Mr. Nachman is also frequently a featured speaker on a variety of real estate-related topics for continuing law education (CLE), including speaking at the annual US Shopping Center Law Conference hosted by the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC).

Christopher M. Bowen is the Chief Development Strategist for RD Management. Chris is leading the Rithm At Uptown (rithm) development, transforming a 100-acre, 1.5 million square foot regional shopping mall into a 7.25 million square foot urban innovation neighborhood driven by the tech, life sciences and artistic communities in Tampa, Florida.
Chris has over 25 years in medical and mixed-use commercial development. Prior to working at RD Management, Chris held several corporate healthcare positions leading national real estate medical practice development and health care supply chain programs for companies such as IntegraMed and Vein Clinics of America.
Additionally, Chris was one of the lead executives and partners responsible for developing three of the nation’s top-5 ranked, medical real estate development companies, including: DASCO Companies, PM Realty Group’s Healthcare subsidiary, and Marshall Erdman Development, LLC (now part of Ventas).

- Thomas Platz Director of Property Tax

Thomas Platz is Director of Property Tax at RD Management. He is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property tax department and managing RD’s real estate tax appeals by identifying tax savings opportunities and monitoring real property tax expenses.
Before joining RD Management, Thomas held the title of Property Tax Analyst at Kimco Realty Corporation for nine years. In that role, he managed tax appeals for 1,300 commercial real estate properties and identified tax savings opportunities. He also developed recommendations for how Kimco could minimize its overall property tax while monitoring local property tax legislation and current developments that could impact the company.
Thomas is a member of the International Property Tax Institute’s Corporate Advisory Committee. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his MBA in Management from Molloy College.

- Alberto Ortiz Director of Information & Technology

Alberto Ortiz is the Director of Information & Technology for RD Management. He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the information and technology team, including VoIP and Unified Communications (UC), and the voice, data, and mobile applications essential to connecting RD Management’s New York City offices with mobile and remote users. Alberto manages network security for both local and wide area networks (LAN and WAN), and the multiple infrastructures utilized by the company. Collaborating with departments company-wide, Alberto helps implement management strategies to streamline and improve all property and accounting-related applications and services.
Alberto was named Director of Information & Technology for RD Management in 2000. Having climbed the ranks at RD Management, he previously was a member of the tech support and network support teams. Prior to joining RD Management, Alberto served on the tech support team for Leacock & Company.
Alberto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. John’s University.
