RD Management Signs Lease with Earth Fare at Shady Oaks Shopping Center in Ocala, Florida

American health and wellness market reopening in September
RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real-estate development and management organizations, is pleased to announce today the lease signing of Earth Fare at its Shady Oaks Shopping Center in Ocala, Florida. Earth Fare occupies a 29,522-square-foot space and is slated to reopen in September.
Founded in 1975, Earth Fare is a health and wellness supermarket chain with over 12 locations in four states throughout the United States. Their mission is to improve lives by “making healthy food available to everyone”. They do so by honoring the Earth Fare branded food philosophy, a responsibility to sell only the best, most natural products. Earth Fare keeps the “good stuff” like organic fruits, vegetables, and responsibly sourced meat and seafood and leaves out the “bad stuff” like meat raised with antibiotics and artificial hormones as well as artificial flavors, dyes, colors and more. Earth Fare even has a “Boot List” of ingredients that you’ll never find in their stores.
In March 2020, a loyal customer and local business leader purchased Earth Fare with the vision to reestablish stores in communities across the Southeast. Supported by investors, the original founders, local advocates, and previous Earth Fare Team Members, the team will begin the renewed mission to improve lives by making healthy food available to everyone and bringing their unique Food Philosophy back to the communities they serve.

The 259,871-square-foot shopping center has a newly renovated facade and ample parking for over 1,000 vehicles. Earth Fare neighbors major tenants such as Burlington, Best Buy, JOANN Fabrics, and Staples.
