RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, announced today the completion of the $1 million renovation of Port Huron Shopping Center in Port Huron, Michigan.
Located in the Blue Water Bridge retail market, the 114,981-square-foot shopping center is situated at the intersection of Howard Street and 24th Street. The completed renovation project included façade enhancements, new roofing, and a parking lot resurfacing. The improvements benefit tenants throughout the center, including anchor tenants Big Lots and Save-A-Lot.
“Ideally located in close proximity to the U.S.-Canadian border, Port Huron Shopping Center’s foot traffic more than doubles with Canadian shoppers,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “We continue to implement new incentives to attract Canadian shoppers and increase retail growth at Port Huron. These renovations are another way we are enhancing the customer’s experience and creating a shopping center destination that draws across borders.”
RD Management owns five properties throughout Michigan and has more than 200 properties in its national portfolio. Other nearby properties include Muskegon Shopping Center, a shopping center in Flint, and development opportunities in Grand Blanc and Southgate.
