RD Management Leases Academy Sports + Outdoors at Academy Plaza in Huntsville, AL

RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, has entered into a lease agreement with Academy Sports + Outdoors, a premier sports, outdoor, and recreation lifestyle retailer, at Academy Plaza in Huntsville, Alabama. Academy Sports + Outdoors will occupy over 62,000 square feet of the retail property.

Academy Plaza is located with visibility to both Memorial Parkway SW & Drake Avenue SW, two major thoroughfares in the city of Huntsville. The property is in the process of being redeveloped, with 36,000 square feet of additional available retail space to come online. The center is situated opposite Parkway Place Mall, a popular shopping destination with tenants that include Dillard’s, Belk, Ann Taylor, Lens Crafters, American Eagle Outfitters, Chico’s, and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
