RD Management Leases The Fresh Market in Winchester Plaza in Winchester, VA

RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, has entered into a lease agreement with The Fresh Market, a specialty grocery retailer focused on providing high-quality products in a unique and inviting atmosphere with a high level of customer service, at Winchester Plaza. The property is also undergoing a renovation project which will add new pylon signage for the center’s tenants.

Winchester Plaza is a 90,000-square-foot shopping center located at 1675 S. Pleasant Valley Road and E. Jubal Early Drive in Winchester, Virginia. In addition to The Fresh Market, anchor tenants of the Winchester Plaza include a 50,635-square-foot Dick’s Sporting Goods, which joined the center this past summer, and a 16,778-square-foot Planet Fitness.

The center is located in proximity to another popular shopping destination for locals, Apple Blossom Mall, and adjacent to Shenandoah University. With nearly 4,000 students and 900 employees, “SU” recently built two new residence halls, arts buildings, and a new athletic center to accommodate its growing student population. These expansions, as well as the current extension project of heavily traveled Spring Street, which created a new access route to the property, will draw increased traffic to the Winchester Plaza.

The Winchester Plaza has the potential for 3,003 square feet of additional space and is one of two properties owned by RD Management across Virginia with the other located in Richmond. The company’s national portfolio consists of more than 200 properties.
