RD Management Names Lily Choy Controller

RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real-estate development and management organizations, has promoted former Assistant Controller Lily Choy to controller.

As Controller, Lily is responsible for RD Management’s corporate finances and overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions of the entire real estate portfolio. In addition, Lily manages the company’s human resources benefits and administration.

“Lily has been an asset to our management team for over two decades and is a driving force behind our company’s financial success,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “As controller, she’ll continue to lend her expertise in finance and accounting and support our human resources. It has been a pleasure working with Lily over the years and I wish her all the best in her new position.”

Lily has 25 years of financial experience in the real estate industry. She joined RD Management in 1993 as an internal auditor in the finance department. In 2014, she transitioned to F. Greek Development as senior property and development controller and managed financial operations and new developments for a 2 million-square-foot portfolio. Lily rejoined RD Management in 2016 as assistant controller. She attended Pace University and holds two Master of Business Administration degrees in International Business and Finance. Lily currently resides in Edison, New Jersey.

RD Management employs approximately 100 people across its national portfolio and owns and operates more than 150 assets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
