RD Management Signs New Tenant Lease at Port Huron Shopping Center in Michigan
August 18, 2016
RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, announced today that it has signed a new tenant lease at its Port Huron Shopping Center in Port Huron, Michigan. Talecris Plasma Resources, a blood and plasma donation center, leased 15,000 square feet at the neighborhood shopping center, which is located in the growing retail market that connects Port Huron to Canada.
Port Huron Shopping Center is a 114,981-square-foot shopping center situated at the intersection of Howard Street and 24th Street. The property recently underwent a $1 million renovation project, which included façade enhancements, new roofing, and a parking lot resurfacing. Anchor tenants include Big Lots and Save-A-Lot.
“The Blue Water Bridge retail market area is booming, with a population that more than doubles with the Canadian shopper represented,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “Adding Talecris to our center’s already diverse tenant mix provides a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to get out and give back to the community.”
The Port Huron Shopping Center is one of four properties owned by RD Management across Michigan, and one of more than 200 properties in its national portfolio. Other nearby properties include Muskegon Shopping Center, a shopping center in Flint, and development opportunities in Grand Blanc and Southgate.
