RD Management Signs Two Leases at Shady Oaks Shopping Center in Ocala, Florida

RD Management LLC, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, has signed two leases at its Shady Oaks Shopping Center in Ocala, Florida. Discount retailer Tuesday Morning leased 16,774 square feet at the “Main & Main” location in the center. Mattress One signed a 4,971-square-foot lease as well at the shopping plaza.
Shady Oaks is a 240,419-square-foot shopping center located at 2401-2499 SW 27th Avenue and College Road in Ocala. A recent $2.2 million redevelopment of the property included façade enhancements, improved parking lot configuration with additional parking spaces, and new tenant renovations.
“Our recent redevelopment efforts have already proved fruitful with these two new leases,” said Rick Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “Potential tenants are contacting our leasing team and we expect further retailer signings in the next few months.”
The Shady Oaks Shopping Center is one of seven properties owned by RD Management across Florida, and one of more than 200 properties in its national portfolio. Other Florida properties RD Management has acquired, developed, and/or redeveloped include: Fern Park Plaza in Fern Park; Groves Shopping Center in Lakeland; Merchants Crossing in North Fort Myers; Seminole Centre in Sanford; and University Mall in Tampa.
