The Third Annual Southampton Sweat Hosted by Pro Surfers Quincy Davis & Balaram Stack
July 20, 2017
Saturday August 5th, 9am-2pm
The courtyard at THE MILL in Watermill, NY
Southampton Sweat brings together music, juice, fashion, and wellness through the partnership of Juice Press, Bandier and Republic Records who proudly sponsor the first-ever Music & Fitness Festival. Now in its third year, it carries the spirit of a traditional music festival, but focuses on health and wellness through a series of workout classes and various activations.
In the previous years, the event has brought in over 1,000 participants which includes a highly curated crowd of fitness and wellness influencers; Kirsty Godso, Clara Alonso, Hilary Rhoda, Sean Avery and Jenne Lombardo and more. Republic Records has provided the soundtrack of the day featuring artists such as Prince Fox from the Casablanca label imprint. With a rich history in the music business, Southampton Sweat’s founder, Leah Landon recognized the power of breaking records and building artist profiles within the fitness communities and developed Southampton Sweat at the intersection of social connection and music experience.
Taking place for the first time at the courtyard at The Mill in Water Mill, NY, a lifestyle center owned by RD Management and Ripco Real Estate, Southampton Sweat will feature professional surfer hosts, Quincy Davis & Balaram Stack, DJ Vashtie, and more activations that will make this annual event bigger and better than year’s past. Landon says “Surf culture like fitness culture both focus on strengthening the body and mind while extending outside the sport toward sharing experience and connecting with other like minded people, which is what Southampton Sweat is all about”
Attendees can partake in a full day of free fitness classes led by NYC’s top studios and celebrity trainers, from dance to intense interval training and more. Fitness Partners include Dogpound, The Class by Taryn Toomey, Anna Kaiser, and celebrity trainers: Kenny Santucci and Solace New York, Evan Betts and Tonehouse, Steve Uria and Switch Playground, and Akin Akman. In addition to free fitness classes, when the attendees aren’t working out they will be able to enjoy complimentary food, beverage and wellness experiences.
Southampton Sweat was founded by Leah Landon. Landon currently serves as the Vice President, brand experience at Juice Press.
